Endowment Grants
Christ Church Lutheran established an endowment grant program starting in 2026, to share some of what we have gathered in support of our mission. See details below about grant applications.
Mission of the Endowment
The Christ Church Lutheran Endowment distributes grants in support of Christ Church Lutheran’s mission: Walking in the way of Christ, we connect and care for each other, our communities, and the world. You can see our full mission, vision, and plan here.
We encourage applicants to offer new ideas that expand the way Christ Church engages and works with the community.
Grant Funding
We will offer grants in the range of $500 to $3,000 and we encourage applications for funding within that range. If we approve your application and your grant request exceeds that range, or even if it is within that range, we may only partially fund your grant application. The number of grants awarded will depend on the endowment’s return in the previous year and on applications submitted.
Grant Criteria
In evaluating projects, we will prioritize projects that have the greatest impact consistent with the mission and ministries of Christ Church Lutheran.
- We consider projects that expand or enhance the ministry areas of Christ Church Lutheran
- We also consider projects that establish or further develop relationships between Christ Church Lutheran and other organizations and agencies with missions consistent with that of Christ Church Lutheran
- Projects that enhance community engagement will be prioritized
- We will accept projects from both within and outside the congregation
Application Process & Timing for 2026
- Application period: Now – September 1, 2026
- Deadline: Monday September 1, 2026
- Grant Notifications: by October 31, 2026
